OMG - my wife actually suggested hot pot for dinner last night. I'm so happy haha
Went to this new hot pot restaurant on Kingsway across from Metrotown, next to Best Buy (where Sammy J Pepper's used to be). It's called Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot. They have a location at Lansdowne Centre already.
$20 all you can eat, plus $10 for the soup. It's pretty good, super busy.

I'll gladly pay double that if it means my wife will eat hot pot again.

i think when winnie and i hosted for our family it worked out to be around $6 a person (not including kids). but we probably used a lot of stuff in our fridge already.
