i always thought that place at oakridge we used to go to (or maybe you all still do) on christmas day was pretty good.
i was also told there's a good place at crystal mall, however i don't think i've ever been there.

In Burnaby, there isn't much. There's that one in Metrotown, but I'm not even sure if it's still open. There's that restaurant at the Delta hotel near my place (where the casino is). It's not bad there, but I forgot what it's called.
There are all the places in Richmond, all of which are not bad. Basically, all the restaurants that you've been to in Richmond for wedding banquets also do dim sum. Those are the higher end places. Personally, I don't like the higher end places though because they have weird stuff, like Kirin. I like the classic dim sum places, and call me old fashioned, I like places that still do the push carts.
There are a couple on Victoria Dr that are pretty good. Golden Swan, I'm sure you've been there before, and there's West Lake near Vic and 33rd.

Fortune in Metro isn't bad. The Fortune in oakridge is gone. Most ppl like Kirin's dimsum. Sun Shui Hua (sp?) have 2 locations that's popular. West Lake has huge portions compared to other places, but it's always packed.

Haha, I thought you were asking for suggestions so you can take family there. I didn't know you wanted to take us there. I wouldn't mind some dim sum, but I already have lunch plans for Saturday.

haha, that was funny.
joel, you should have just said, "who wants to go for dim sum this saturday? and who wants to suggest a place?"
i've never really been a fan of dim sum, until i went to china and had it there.
