Taiwanese style hot pot. It's individual hot pots with all the stuff already put into the pot and has flavoured soup. On Kingsway near Royal Oak.

Tried it a couple times and it's pretty good. Nice flavorful soup and good portions. Oh, and they have stinky tofu.

winnie had that style hot pot at "the one" further east on kingsway. she said it was pretty good too.

the one is not bad. their bbt is crazy huge too... they pile the slush up so high that it's 2x the height of the cup it comes in. it's the sister restaurant to some other restaurant whose name escapes me at the moment though

yeah, winnie got one of those slush things last time. they're pretty awesome. the food portions are big too.

i actually thought there was already a thread on "the one", but i couldn't find it because "the" and "one" are too short/common words lol.
