anyway, just finished eating their bacon portabella mushroom melt on a chinese bun lol (i forget what the bun is called, but it was like a chinese bun).
it was pretty good, and cheaper than a baconator. however, the bun could use some work (those damn chinese).

Chinese bun? You mean those pasty white steamed buns? That'd be gross for a burger.

Haha yes, I know what type you were talking about. I was just joking around.
Anyway, it's called a brioche bun. I just tried it last night, but I didn't like it as much as their original mushroom melt. It's not as cheesy as before.

I always remembered calling it "bacon mushroom melt".
Just googled it a bit, and I read some mentions of "bacon mushroom melt" back to 2010, but couldn't find any mention of just "mushroom melt".

hm, maybe i'm think of a different place then.
from what i remember of wendy's bacon mushroom melt (unless i'm thinking of the other place that doesn't have bacon), the cheese was like cheez whiz, just this goopy stuff. this new burger is similar, but the baconator cheese is the best.

Yeah, the bacon mushroom melt had lots of that cheez whiz type cheese. This new Portobello one has a lot less cheez sauce.
