I wish I could use a blade razor.. I would use it if not for my bumpy skin.. Not as a daily, but once in a while.

not adjustable in terms of height, but rather the angle of the razor. i do adjust it for a less aggressive cut or more aggressive depending on what blade i am using, how long my facial hair is, etc. i have even experimented with changing the settings on 2nd pass or 3rd pass if i feel like being extra baby smooth. that works okay too, but most of the time i am too lazy to bother.

merkur have non-adjust too. i bought one of those for my first safety razor and that was also fine. mostly with the adjustable i wanted to try a really aggressive setting since some people seem to prefer that. it turns out i don't lol.

that's a nice looking EJ set! that brush looks pretty huge!

electric shavers never give as close of a shave as hand razors (except maybe for the lame disposable ones)... i use the mac3 only for things like just before weddings, but for day to day use, electric time saving is worth more to me than a close shave... especially for those of us who don't grow facial hair like the terrorist fynn... but then again, he uses electric too haha...

it takes me like 30 seconds max to shave each morning... less if i don't really care about it being even..... if i use a MACH 3 (lol...), i have to lather, shave, rinse, and put on aftershave which takes a whole heck of a lot longer... but then again, if you shape, it'll prob take you longer... a lot of electric shavers out there have a straight edge trimmer that flips up for you to shape as you like... but the one i have is kinda crappy...

you could buy a trimmer that would probably work for you fine... if you're only interested in trimming and cleaning up, it'd be the cheaper option

Has anyone tried using a straight razor? I've been kind of wanting to try it out, but some of them are pretty expensive.
