no, i'm not self employed. i have a discretionary fund, but i've never used it before (i would sooner use it to help the homeless than to pay for my own lunch though).

well, you don't have to be self employed, but can't you write it off like how jai or coleen take clients out to lunches and the company writes it off? i was thinking that you get to expense things for your ministry... but i suppose that's the discretionary fund... so what do you use that fund for then? do you actually donate it to the homeless?
