Helpful tax tips or do I need to just bend over and take it?

yeah. one of the best pensions in the country apparently. turns out that they moved most of it right before the crash of 02. i called insider information, but the two large fellows with the brass knuckles and baseball bats told me to keep my mouth shut.

so what happened to the pension for the pastors who were parts of churches who left the elcic (cough, new life, cough)? did they move their pension amount into a new pension with whatever organization they joined with or did they just toss the amount that they had invested already for each pastor into their own individual rrsps?

i think it's their choice. they can cash out now, or transfer it to rrsp's. i *think* they could have kept it in there w/o contributing any more too, not sure.

back to tax tips. i heard a while back that the government was going to add deductions for certain costs spent towards sporting/atheletic groups/clubs/memberships etc... is this in effect yet? i think there already is something to that effect for children already, is their an equivalent for adults?

would it apply to beer league hockey?

Just Children for now still but I think they are considering it with a goal of 2014/15 for adults.
