I think I'd prefer one same password for everything. If I make it complex enough so a password guessing program can't go through a list of words to guess it, then it should be okay.

There are too many things that require passwords, so having different ones for everything is pretty hard.

yeah, me too.
i have a password holder app on my phone so if i have an odd one i'll put it in there.

but usually i have a variation of words and numbers and different combinations of those. sometimes it's confusing because i don't remember when some sites require a number and a letter in their passwords or not.

i refrain from answering questions about my passwords.

I hate it when sites say that your password is too short, then won't accept your longer one 'cause it's too long or includes unsupported characters.

i know right! it's like, it's my password man, who cares what you think.

i have a few diff passwords for diff sites that i think need more secure passwords...

i have one secure one that no one will guess. and i have one that i don't care about for sites that i don't care about. and i have a combination of those two for different sites for varying different reasons.

oh, and there are the pin's too. that's usually the same, but that doesn't help me when i have two other alarm codes to think about too.

That's the same for me... the password thing, that is.

how did you guys come up with your passwords? was it just a random thing or does it actually have meaning?

i think the meaning ones are stupid. i've guessed so many passwords this way lol.

I use my grandmother's maiden name for as much as I can. When I need a number I just add my birthdate to the end. I change-up between the MMddyyyy and ddMMyyyy date formats.

i just use my name. i figure no one would think anyone's stupid enough to do that.

and if it's numbers, i'd do 1234 or 9876. no one guesses those. was pretty surprised to see it on spaceballs though.


and i don't even know my grandmother's maiden name...

You ever wonder why bluetooth headsets always have the passcode set at 0000? And why they even bother putting passcodes on those headsets when you can't change them?

they're not always 0000. i've seen some that were 1234. or maybe that was something else.
