specifically clothes. i hate ordering online because i hate having to return it if the fit isn't right (or what i imagined it to be). but it's so dang convenient.

what to do.

if price is the same, go to store.

just b/c it fits well and looks good on a model on a website doesn't mean it'll fit for me. also you can't really tell quality, or comfort through just a picture. plus at a store you get it right away.

if it's cheaper online, then go to a store, try it out. then purchase online.

or if they offer free return shipping, just order everything and send back what u don't want.

i just said that i don't like to return stuff man. especially if i have to pack it up and ship it (even if they pay for it). it sometimes seems easier to just go to the store and NOT buy it if i don't like it.

for clothes, definitely store.
Anything else, order online if they offer free shipping (and free return shipping if anything is wrong with it)

most stuff (like toys, books, tools, etc) is fine to buy online. but i just have a problem with buying clothes online.

which sucks because winnie wants me to order her something right now.

I guess if she's confident with her own sizing for clothes, that's a different story.

Depends on the site. Coleen is obsessed now with buying online with BR and Gap (thanks a TON Corris) because you can actually return or exchange the online purchase at the stores.

i didn't know you could do that either.

that changes things, but i still think i'd go to the store. i don't like returning things in person, either.

I think Aldo allows u to return shoes instore that u order online as well. There's a few other places that offer that now.

chapters can too i think.
oh, and so does mec.

i think i've only bought clothes online once and it was a zip up hoodie... i don't like buying clothes online even if i can return it in store. i'd sooner try it on first.

most all other things like books, gadgets, toys, if i can find it cheaper online, i'd do that instead of going to the store

there's something about being able to go to the store and browse though. it's not the same doing that online.
