it's been a long time since i've used an electric razor for my face, and my dad tried to give me one but i kept telling him that i wouldn't use it. but then i thought, why wouldn't i? it's fast, easy and i can do it while i drive (sorta).
what do you guys use and why?

Electric.
I'm lazy.
I'm actually too lazy to use the electric half the time.

conventional and old school.
i've been shaving with a double edge safety razor now for about 5 years. in all that time i've spent about 20$ in blades shaving every 3 days or so, and the shave is just as clean as a mach3 or 5 or 15 whatever it is now. i'm also using a shave brush with old school shave soaps (which last way longer than any gel/creame in a can)
last time i was in vegas i got the hot towel shave with a straight razor and that was freaking awesome.

that is the best way to get a close shave. the stuff they have now pale in comparison (so i hear).
having said that, i don't know if that kind of thing would work for me since i have facial hair.

try using one of those disposable razors on 3 week old facial hair, takes forever and painfully slow.

disposable razors suck. i remember when i was in australia i was cutting my hair when my battery died and i didn't have my charger. so i ran to 711 (or the austrailian equivalent) to buy a pack of disposable razors. zomg never again will one of those things touch my head. it was pretty bad.
but i used to use the mach3 on my head all the time. it was the best.
