i find that i can't stand reading paper any more. i think i'm addicted to backlighting.

what do you guys read?

ereaders don't have backlighting... unless you're talking about an app for your tablet...

i haven't actually read a book on a tablet or ebook reader so i dunno what my pref is... i think i'd probably get addicted to ereaders as well because i hate having to hold pages open

I haven't read a book on an ereader yet either, but reading on a tablet is awesome. It's not much the no pages to turn thing, it's just that it's so much more convenient to browse for and buy books. In the past few months that I've had this tablet, I've read like 6 books already. I don't remember ever reading 6 books within a year's timespan, let alone 3 months.

i don't ever remember having time to read one book let alone 6 after hayden was born lol

i found myself reading on my phone while ryan was sleeping. it's easy because i don't have to be in another room or turn on a lamp. i read a couple books that way but now i find i just read the news and surf the net a bit before i sleep.

however, the thing i don't like about conventional books is that i need the light to read (limiting where i can read them). with an ereader (the new ones have backlighting, but i was talking about my tablet anyway) i can read them anywhere.

anything that uses back lighting you can't really use outdoors on a sunny day.

although i don't have one, i'll choose ereader, primarily b/c of the environmental impacts. although if there was no environmental impact, i would probably go with the book.

my phone works fine outside on a sunny day. i've read the news sitting on the back porch in the summer before.
