let's settle this.

Ninja, hands down, though I do like Rum better than Sake

I think a ninja would be able to kill a pirate pretty easily.
A pirate could probably sail a boat better though.

the same goes for pirates.

do we pick what we'd rather be or who would win in a fight.
be a pirate - ninja sounds like a lot of maintenance and training, pirating sounds like a lot of lazing around and partying
ninja wins - for obvious reasons the one that trains at killing all the time would stand a better chance then the one that just drinks/parties most the time in between some looting here or there.

pirates also don't care to bathe. ninjas must bathe constantly lest their odour give away their location.

but pirates are also stuck at sea for months at a time with only dudes... but i guess you can bring aboard wenches

i don't think ninjas have sex at all. they're supposed to be castrated or something.

I dunno... pirates aren't really about fighting though. They use scare tactics and intimidation to steal and loot. They fight only when they're trying to get away from the law.

Ninjas are trained assassins. You wouldn't use them in a war or even a duel. If you want someone killed though, I'd hire a ninja rather than a pirate. It's hard to tell who'd win in a fair fight though.

well, the difference would be that pirates wouldn't care if you saw him, in fact, they probably want you to know them so they can strike fear in everyone. they don't surprise, they intimidate.

ninjas, however, lurk in shadows and kill without anyone even knowing that they're there. surprise is their element.

a fair fight wouldn't happen between the two because they're both dishonourable. but i still vote for the ninja.
