lunchtime. wondering if i should go to fat burger. it's a further drive, but oh so good.

Fatburger is soo expensive. And they have no business now... it's always so dead there.

i still have a free burger with them haha.

yea, it's pretty expensive... it's good, but for that price i think i'd sooner go somewhere else

it's not THAT much. under $15 for a full meal. go to red robin's or vera's and you're likely paying more than that.

true, but fat burger's kinda set up like a fast food joint.. you have to walk up to the counter to order, sure they bring you your order after, but you have to fill your own drinks and what not... you're paying for just the food.. the other joints at least you're partly paying for service

vera's is set up exactly the same, but at some vera's you get the food yourself.

Vera's has specials for like 9.99 with fries. McDs is like $7 bux for a meal now, Wendy's is over $8. What happened to the good old days of under $5 for a meal.

yeah i know, it sucks. i remember walking in with $5 and leaving happy. now if i walk in with $5 i can just leave with a happy meal.

Actually, Duncan get's 20% off at Vera's... or he will at least when I get around to picking up his Canucks card at Rogers during regular business hours.
