Two 4 hours classes or one 8 hour class

I want to take a course starting January, but I don't know if I should take 2 night classes per week at 4 hours per class, or if I should take an 8 hour class once per week on Saturday.
I do prefer to get it all over with in one shot, but then the prospect of an 8 hour class after not being in school for so long is a bit daunting.

get it all over with. it's just as daunting as a 4 hour class, but you have to get ready and drive there only once.

There are studies out there that prove that you learn better in small doses.

that's why you get a break. it's not 8 hours straight.

A half hour break isn't enough to separate it. They say small doses are better because if you give your brain time to process the information and store it in your long term memory (via REM sleep), then it's better.

Yeah, I think I'd prefer the 8 hour class too, but it's scary is what I'm saying.

8 hours, just like the seminars i gotta go to. Gotta keep popping those little candies they provide you, or maybe it's some kind of drug.

it's scary, sure. but would you rather drive someplace scary once or twice in the same week?

I'm not scared of the class... I'm scared that I might not be able to handle 8 hours in a row.

It's part 1 of 3 modules needed for a Cisco CCNA designation. Basically a Cisco network administrator.
