Yup. I figured a while back that I've always put my phone away for meetings with customers and collegues, why would it be any different at home? If anything, I want to give family and friends more of my attention and time than business associates. Priorities.

the funny thing is that i actually feel weird walking around at home with basketball shorts on simply because there's no pocket to put my phone in. my excuse is that if there's an emergency, i need to be contacted. however, it never happens.

but then, as soon as i put my phone down, it probably will happen.

i usually put my phone down in a central location so i can hear it ring. Plus, most people know alicia's number too so if they can't reach me, they call her... although usually it's the other way around because my wife can never seem to remember where she put her phone

yeah, that never happens with me. most of my congregation think my cell number is my landline. i've gotten calls while i was at work from congregants looking for winnie haha.

so what i did yesterday was put my phone on "phone calls only" and left it in my pocket. i found there were times that i reached for it, but i promptly stopped.
i did catch myself picking up my phone more often when i was carrying wesley, it's boring holding onto that guy sometimes. actually make that all the time.

yea, i find myself pulling my phone out of my pocket every now and then just to see if there's anything on the screen. gotta make more of an effort to stop being so dependent on it

lol i totally do that. i always check for notifications. granted, when i'm at home and check there is one more often than not, but i found myself almost constantly checking it when i'm at lunch or walking around the mall and i never have any notifications whatsoever lol.
