but if you calculate, 1 millions isn't all that much. One international ticket is 75,000 miles, that's at the discounted rate, reg rate is 100k. Unless you fly around domestic all the time.

If you're taking your family of 4 for an international vacation, that's 300k gone already.

i think that it's great that this guy did this and is reaping the rewards, but i think you definitely have to be a "certain type" of person to find these little loopholes in life. i likely would never have the discipline or inclination to look at those kinds of details in order to find one of these.
