Webmail yes... but if your outlook client is installed on your notebook or tablet and you are on wifi with another carrier providing the backbone, then no.

oh yeah, that's why i didn't set up the gmail account, for exactly that reason. i think that looks stupid when it says blah blah on behalf of blah blah. i know, it's a small matter.

and i think you can check shaw mail using outlook anywhere but you can't send shaw mail from outlook anywhere.

You can change settings so it doesn't show the "on behalf" part.

you can send from where ever you want, just gotta find a universal smtp server... telus is the same way, you can't send out emails using a the telus smtp server while you're on a different provider... for example,i use smtp.live.com as my smtp server on my phone for my telus email

whoa, relax man. i was making a general statement. people complain about being busy all the time, and now technology so prevalent and yet they still say they're too busy to do things like spend time with friends, go to church, workout, etc. so that begs the question, has technology really freed time up or has it cluttered it (with the things you mentioned like angry birds/forum posting/farmville).
