hm, i need to update my twitter and facebook first, then i should check in on foursquare saying that i'm still at work, and then i'll post here when i'm done with it all.

How was the piano recital?

back at church today to do some other stuff, piano recital is still going on haha. it's more like a piano workshop or something, but they'll be here for the rest of today, tomorrow and next weekend.

it turns out that the adjudicator for this workshop is a member of one of my internship churches. what a small world.

speaking of which, does new life ever get requests from renters?

Yes, I believe we do... but we've always had to turn them down because we're short on space as it is.

send them our way! we love renters!
actually, we love the money that renters brings. having renters sucks.

I wish we had some avenue of income other than tithes. Renting our space out does seem like a pretty good idea. I'm sure there are times of the week that aren't used up right now, like Sunday night.

new life used to rent the basement to the agape group during the week. and there are seventh day adventists that are awesome to rent to because of no conflict in worship times, but the trick is to find them.

and you can always rent to non-religious groups, like weight watchers or aa.

I think we stopped renting to the Agape group because we weren't part of it anymore.
