since that pot thread got locked i'm going to post this here.
when gordon said "coping" i thought of this:

"haha that reminds me of i think it was an snl skit where this guy is trying to teach people how to cope. he wrote a book about it but the book itself was totally messed up. the publisher didn't spell check so there were misspelled words and stuff in there and some of the pages were upside down in the book and the chapters weren't numbered properly and the cover said "copping". then the coping guy lost it.

hey didn't i post this in the general off topic? i don't think this was meant for a this or that.

was it moved or did i just mess up? either case, it can be moved.

if we aren't supposed to pick one, what further discussion was supposed to be spurred on by the first post?

i just wanted to share the story that i was going to put in the the other thread which got locked.

actually, i wonder if there's a misunderstanding here. i found this thread in the this or that forum, which is was actually supposed to be in the off topic forum. no choice necessary.
