so i got an email from mazda saying that they're going to "jump start" vancouver at metrotown today at 1pm. i went there for lunch and i saw just a mazda3 parked there. ok, nothing special. but when i was leaving at around 12:50 i saw a bunch of people in orange jumpsuits. i figured they were getting ready for a flash mob.

i turned around and went back in to see it.



aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it sucked. just plain sucked. i mean, i've seen people suck before, but those were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.

You should've recorded that ish, man.

no, it wasn't worth it. seriously. they were like the worst dancers ever.

if you go to 3:14 you see me walking up the stairs. and i wouldn't bother watching the rest, it's that bad. makes me want to get rid of our mazda haha.

oh, and i don't know if you can tell, but the guy with the steadycam thing has a point and shoot on there. lolz.

i thought a flash mob was supposed to be regular people in regular clothes? isn't this just a bunch of idiots wearing orange? that kinda defeats the purpose of a flash mob... this is kinda like "hey, look at our horribly choreographed dance"

yeah i guess so. but i guess a flash mob could be any large group of people in a regular urban area "spontaneously" breaking out in dance.

if you watch the vid, you can see so many mistakes and bad timing. it's pretty awful.

yea, but everyone dressing up in orange isn't spontaneous... it's kinda like the opposite of spontaneous.. lol

actual flash mobs aren't spontaneous either. they just are meant to look like they are. i think the idea behind this one is that these orange dudes are inmates or something. but the thriller inmates were way better lol.
