i always thought it was maxin'... googling it it up shows most people saying that it's maxin' as well

i think it's supposed to be "chilling out, maxin', relaxin' all cool" like as if they were 3 separate actions

i dunno man, i never went "maxin" before in my life. nor have i heard that term anywhere but the often misinterpreted lyrics found the net. and i used to listen to a LOT of rap, meaning my ebonics is pretty up to speed.

if you think about it, "chillin out max and relaxin, all cool" makes much more sense, and much more in line with something that the fresh prince would actually say.

haha, i'm not arguing that your version makes more lyrical sense, but who ever said rap had to make lyrical sense. Especially fresh prince lyrics which in no way were highly regarded... ever.. hahah...

anyways, even if the lyrics are misinterpreted on the internet, there has to be AT LEAST one site that states it your way and honestly, i can't find one... and you know, anything on the internet has to be true...

actually, i found that many lyric sites just copy each other. i noticed this when all of them were having the same spelling mistakes.

but there's gotta be at least one with the correct lyrics? can't find one

not always. it depends on the popularity of the song. i found that none of the sites ever got any bone thugs songs right until bone thugs actually released their lyrics.
