don't fall for the viral pic going around. marty didn't land this past wednesday. it was a mistaken hoax based on an advertising gimmick from a couple years ago.

any fan would know that the movies were based in 1985, and they went 30 years into the past to nov 5, 1955, and then 30 years into the future ("it's a nice round number" ~doc brown) to october 21, 2015.

so the pic you're posting is the viral incorrect year of 2012? the "future" future with floating skateboards is 3 years away?

also, is there a pic out there that compares what they had marty looking like in 2015 in BTTF vs how MJFox looks like now? lol...
