We already know what's going to happen... the earth splits apart, John Cusack steals a plane and goes to the Himalayas and stows away on a multibillion dollar ark and becomes humanity's last hope. That, and Africa was unaffected.

Actually, I think I'll probably end up being alone in somebody else's home while they go out delivering Christmas presents to extended relatives for the whole day. That is unless I decide to add to the estimated 34 hours of travelling (and waiting at airports) that I'll be doing these holidays, and join them.

i heard 12/21 and 12/20. scientists say that the world is indeed ending, but probably in the year 3000.

i think it would have been funnier if they changed it to "the year 2100" or something.

No. That's why there's the discrepancy between 12/20 and 12/21.

it's like when everyone was scared of the year 2000 thing, and i suggested to my brother (who did a lot of software updates hoping to prevent the catastrophe) to just forward the computer's clock to the year 2000 to see what happens. and he said that wouldn't work.

then i said let's see what happens in australia since they're affected first. no, that still wouldn't work.

ok, be scared then. i'm going to play nintendo.
