i don't see what's wrong with actually.
i think it's worse if you said "i tell you the truth", like how Jesus used to. nothing says "i got you by the balls" like saying "I tell you the truth".

Being up front is one thing. If you're going to insult someone or call them a fool, do it straight up. Don't be sneaky about it. Don't be a wise-ass. Or at least I think that's the point of the article.

Personally, I think I overuse 'like', and 'just'. I just find them the 'filler' words that suit me the best.
