I think the WEI benchmark is not particularly accurate for performance measuring. for instance running a raid configuration can improve actual write/read performance but it wouldn't affect your WEI score at all.

but good to hear that your hardware seems to be in working order. i've never dealt with lenovo support so don't know how good they are in that regard.
