it's ok... some random rapper/singer trying to make a name for him/herself will always sample his stuff... but then again, i think that'd just make everyone miss new music even more haha

there hasn't been much sampling of 2pac's stuff recently that i know of except for tq's my block. influence will always be there though, (and in effort to bring this thread back on subject) so i guess steve jobs' work isn't dead as he'll live on through those who his work has touched.

So isn't missing the music the same as missing the person? The music is a creative piece of work that came from that person. In a way, you DO know 2pac.

I guess in trying to rationalize the sensationalization of a celebrity's death, that would be how I'd try to describe it.

funny i was just reading a book about knowing of someone vs. knowing someone.
we know of a lot of people, but we'll never know them until we actually spend time with them.
