Yeah, they've given us ballpark figures before, but it's rarely accurate.

really? i thought they'd be more accurate because you guys are a business. in burnaby the ballpark has always been around an 8 hour window, so pretty useless. but when i was in vancouver it was accurate within an hour i think.

It's different out here because all the power lines are old.
There was this one time when a hawk flew into one of this area's main transformers and fried the whole grid. There's no way of guessing when that would be fixed.

btw, the power went out here in bby. It was one really long minute.

haha, i didn't notice a power outage. are you sure you didn't just hit the light switch by mistake?

i've only experienced on power outage at work, and it was out for like 20 minutes before i just left. that's when i was using a laptop so i just ran on battery power for a while before leaving.

Yeah, I'm sure. I think it happened really early in the morning. You were probably still asleep. I think it was around 9:30 or 10:00 or so.
