Setting up Hot Pot w/ wang sauce

The one I was planning on setting up is for my birthday in January.

Yeah, and I don't want to start planning around this time because everyone has so much to think about that they will probably just ignore my email if I send it now.

we've fit like 12 people in the dining room before. what we could do is have the regular adults on one table and the kids with their parents (read: moms) at another table.

I had 20 people over at my parents' old house before for hot pot. We had 3 round tables set up.
It worked okay, but it was a lot of work. Clean up was a huge pain in the butt too... we all dripped soup and sauces all over the floor.

That was back when no one had kids. Imagine with all the kids, lol.

i meant we fit 12 people around that table before for hot pot. or at least 10, i don't remember. but it was a lot. that was the table that's in the kitchen now. the table out in the dining room could probably fit more me thinks.
