15 minutes after normal operating temps are reached. that's what's good for your car, not sure about fuel consumption.

yeah, i think those bottled waters at the corner stores are those who just want water like NOW. i've started to drink tap water on a regular basis, but i drink the water from the cooler if wanted really cold water or hot water. still, at 2 bucks per 5L (now that i think about it, it might be more than that), it's pretty cheap. the cooler itself was only $70 or something i think from costco haha (but we've gone through like 3-4 of them in the past 5-6 years).
