To pass on genes you want to make sure you have kids and that your kids live.
If you're a stud muffin with big cajones, you'll be impregnating women left and right easily. If some of your kids die, no big loss your other 4-5 kids from your other mistresses will survive.
If you have no balls you'll probably not have alot of luck with women, and the one woman that actually accepts your donation you'll want to make sure your offspring survives. You wont get as many chances as the guy with big balls..
