it does also say client mode on the first page, which i also did mention in my original post.

anyways its a really handy device.

can give your non wifi devices wifi access.
if you ever go to a hotel that charges for wifi but gives you a ethernet port for free. you can get wifi for all your devices with this.
if you ever go to a hotel with crappy free wifi, you can plug into their ethernet port with this and use it as a router. This thing is small.
If you want to create a second public SSID at your home, you can use it as a bridge and create a second private wifi network without forking money over to buy a proper router.
set it as a repeater to extend your wifi signal range

I wouldnt use it as a permanent home router but for 15 dollars, that size, and those features its a steal.

yeah, i read more on the tabs after you pointed out what it could do. it sounds pretty cool for sure, and i guess for such a low price it's not bad.

however, i'm talking about something for kitty's computer and more permanent. if i were to buy this thing i'd use it for myself for when i'm travelling and stuff.

I bought mine off amazon.ca for 15 bucks, surprisingly cheaper than the American site.

dude that's the one i linked to earlier. that's the option that i'm probably going for, instead of paying for a bunch of hardware and functions that i don't need.
like i said, i may buy it for myself, but not for kitty's comp.

Oh, I just saw router and didn't think about the bridge function. You could technically hook up any router and use it a bridge then.
