scary stuff man. crazy i had to hear about it a week after it happened and on a web forum no less. i guess this is the new way for me to keep up on the news. oh by the way, i had a kid about 7 months ago.

hope you didn't get nightmares about it. i know after i flew into a ditch i was hyped up on adrenaline for like a week.

I concur. Not overdramatic. I think I'd be constantly checking out all of the trees that I drove past, had that happened to me.

Also, there's a reason why I chose not to renew my Level 3 First Aid ticket looong, long ago.

yeah, i'd be afraid of trees too. actually, after i flipped in a ditch i remember i was really afraid of our boat tipping over that summer when we went speed boating. like, i wasn't freaking out, but i was pretty scared (as in, more so than usual).
