It's supposed to be a 40th birthday bash... but anyone else can celebrate their 5th or 32nd or 90th birthday along with us.

i'm just saying that in the off chance that dave can't even go, would that necessarily mean that this trip is off?

I'm not feeling very confident about Dave's attendance after his response or lack thereof, when we were playing poker the other day.
I would organise something for my 30th... but it doesn't seem as worthwhile as Dave's 40th! Which is a great occasion to celebrate in style!!

it doesn't sound like i'd be attending a trip either. too much stuff going on in the family with other trips perhaps in the works and so forth.
but i'm not saying that anyone should stop planning one.
