hm, i usually hammer pretty hard, unless the mood calls for slow and sensual. i guess i'll see if there are new deals tomorrow. if not, hammer away, i guess.

i checked late last night, and there's new $80 plan haha. unlimited everything and 3gb of data.

well, hopefully when my contract runs out in a couple weeks i can just keep it (although they told me that my extra data would expire). maybe i'll get lucky and still get a retention plan? we'll see.

now i'm thinking about switching to rogers. their phones are waaaaay cheaper. the s4 on a 2-year contract is $179 compared to fido's $450, and the q10 at rogers is $79 compared to fido's $350.
the plans are like $5 more a month, but off the top of my head that doesn't sound like that much over 2 years.

LOL... they just flipped flopped. The pricing was the other way around last month. Maybe by the time your contract runs out, they'll flip again and Fido will have the $179 & $79 price, and Rogers will go back to the higher prices.

actually, i'm thinking about just renewing with fido and keep my current phone. that way i get 10% off my plan. if a nicer phone comes along then i'll think about upgrading, but i don't know if i want to go through the hassle of switching companies (ish, i know rogers owns fido) and losing my free minutes with winnie and i don't want to pay through my nose for a new phone.

fido now doubled the data on some of their smart plans, but max plans remain the same. if i bring my own device and get that plan, i'll be basically paying 50 cents more for 100mb less data and 50 more daytime minutes. seeing as how i hardly break 200mb i might as well just do that (contract is ending next week).

i won't go on contract, i think i'll wait to see what the future brings to fido in the way of handsets and go on contract when i see something that catches my fancy. another while with the 9900 i guess (or the nokia 820).
