Just got back with the CR-V. Here is my 2¢.
TOTALLY WORTH $8
The external wash portion on the CR-V usually takes me 60 minutes for a good job. This trip took me 5 minutes to get there, no line up, 90 seconds to go through it, and 5 minutes to drive back. For $8, I've saved myself 45 minutes of time and it required ZERO effort on my part. How well did it clean you ask.
Pretty damn good. There were missed spots which is unavoidable. All the crevices up front that usually get missed by a touchless didn't get missed this time. All the usual crevices on the back of the vehicle (mainly around the license plate) were missed but not nearly as much as the one at Richmond Honda misses. The crevice behind the door handles and just under the top of the windows had some slight dirt still too. But really, when I stepped out of the car in my garage, it took me all of 40 seconds to tidy up the missed spots.
Did I mention how freaking clean the wheels / wheel wells / tires / brakes / the entire freaking area is? I honestly don't know how long it would take me to clean out the four shoes to that level of cleanliness.
$8 is a steal.
