so then maybe the degree of entitlement has to do more with the social status (roughly middle class) we are raised under, than it has to do with generation maybe? there are some people I assume still from our own generation that still do not get the same opportunities or luxuries that their generational peers might.
additionally, I would add people aren't fixed to live these "entitled" lives either, there are examples of people who choose to give up that kind of life for more simple living.
i think it definitely correlates, as it seems logical that you are used to what you've already experienced. so in the future you continue to expect what you've already had. and anything less that that... well is less. so you're more likely to consider that the norm. just as I assume some person that grew up as a billionaire, is going to expect different norms than us. but it also doesn't guarantee that we feel entitled to that, but definitely makes us more susceptible to being so.
