K I went last night lol. I did the $15 one.. my car was super dirty since I drove it up to Whistler last weekend.

My car has never been so clean since the last time I washed it myself (when it was still warm out). DAYAM this is awesome.

so i finally went through this yesterday. i cheaped out and took the $8 option, as it seemed like the more expensive ones only had after protection stuff, but the cleaning part was exactly the same (i could be wrong).
i took some before and after pics (i thought i had more before pics, but this was the only one worth showing):

as was said, there are obvious missed spots (especially in the hatch area), and i didn't have time to touch it up. but i guess it was better than nothing though.

**edit: uploaded wrong size and wrong pictures. and resizing the pics makes them both look exactly the same. i should have taken a before pic of the hood, as that was a huge difference there.

my car gets washed at every service, 8000kms for the pilot and 11k for the x5.

the mazda gets washed (poorly) when i take it in for service too. i don't take the golf to the dealership, so it doesn't.

i went on friday afternoon with the kids in the car.. they loved it. It did a good job but it missed a lot more spots than i thought it would... didn't have time to touch up but it probably would take me 15 minutes to touch up if i got off my lazy ass

i went through yesterday too, and touch up took less than 5 minutes.
maybe bigger cars have more missed spots? dunno. i asked ryan if he wanted to go through and he said "no. scared." haha.

I think your VW has less angles and stuff than SUVs. I did the auto wash thing a few weeks ago and it missed a lot of spots for me too. My side mirrors blocked the washer tentacles from getting to parts of my windows. It missed the cleft area where the bottom of my rear trunk hatch meets the bumper. It also doesn't do my rims well at all.
