yea, i think i read somewhere that the 5 was the best selling iphone yet.

I think the 5 isn't the best selling as in the most sold ever in the existence of the planet, but that it sold more units in the past year than any previous phone. Especially because other phones have been out longer and still are selling globally while the 5 has only been out for a year.

i thought the 5c was supposed to be some less expensive value model, the thing is still 600$ bucks. wasn't that around the release price of all the other iphones before?

yeah, a lot of people were disappointed in the price of the 5c because it wasn't exactly budget pricing.

i was just on the fido site and the iphone is available on a 2-year contract now (no more need for any max plan i guess) and it's only $230!!! compare that with the blackberry q10 at $350 and the samsung s4 at $450, both on 2-year plans.

is this like the cheapest iphone ever?

it does require max plan from what i saw.

oh whoops, i guess they changed the max plan duration, it used to be all max plans were 3 years and smart plans were 2 years. i guess with those new rules coming they had to change it up.
max plans are crap man, they're exactly the same as smart plans but way more expensive.

was it just a $50 credit if it wasn't in stock? they usually have something similar every year when an iphone comes out.
