i predict that something's gotta give... all the time you spend on the forums will cut into your sermon research/writing time and you'll have to skip more poker nights than usual because you're way behind in your weekly sermon haha...

actually, there was a student who stole sermons off the net. she got caught, and was asked to leave. i think she just ended up dropping out on her own.

I noticed that one of the Pastors at ECBC would preach on the same topic as what they aired on Praise 106.5 that week. Is that plagarisim?

it's only plagiarism (which, by the way, is the correct way of spelling it) if that pastor uses the same words as praise 106. topics aren't copyrighted, preachers can preach on whatever they want (although i find it much easier and even more meaningful to follow the common lectionary).

and yes, you'll find that many topics don't stay on topic in spite of their name being 'topic'.
