we had like 20 people at church today, which is small even for us.

We had a better turnout at church this Sunday than we usually do on an average Sunday.
Speaking of hillz in Burnaby... I couldn't go up the Beta Ave hill to go home, so I thought I'd go the other way and go down the hill instead. I kept slipping down, so I just parked on the side of Beta for the night until the city cleared the snow.
I guess someone else couldn't stop either and hit my car. My whole driver side door is dented and scratched now.

That's why I stayed home both days. I didn't think I'd make it back up Boundary if I went down, and I don't trust other drivers.
That sucks about your cars. I hope they get fixed soon and don't set you back too much.

Yeah, I try to stay away from street parking too during snowy weather... I was actually scared of a lot worse things happening to my car that night, like someone crashing into the back of it and then pushing it out into Lougheed Hwy.

i probably would have just parked in the brentwood parking lot. but oh well, hindsight is always 20/20.
how much were the damages?

It was snowing.. the Brentwood parking lot was covered in snow. Plus in the morning, they have a huge truck shoveling snow in the parking lot, so I'd have to get out of there pretty early to avoid getting my white-as-snow camoflaged car from being shoveled too.

i'm actually surprised that you were having trouble in the snow too... what, with your car winning rallies and what have you.
