It was pretty lame last year when we went... plus we got spammed on our email and got telemarketer calls on our phone as a result.

haha, just don't sign up for anything anymore. i hear the evo is discontinued. i wouldn't mind checking out the golf r20 that's supposed to be there.

Weren't they supposed to have the R20 there last year too? It ended up not being there.
So, the last Evo is supposed to be there?

There's a blue R20 parked in Yaletown all the time. Has a Cali plate on it.

The R20 doesn't look much different from a GTI or any other Golf, except for some minor differences like the tailpipe and lights. Unless I get to drive it, I wouldn't care too much about making a trip to the auto show just to see it.

don't they have eye candy at these auto shows too? i've never been so i don't know but i just assumed... if so the r20 isn't the only tail and headlights you can check out...

there are no r20's in north america, you probably saw a mk4 or 5 r32.
the r20's won't be available for us until 2013 or something.

and the r20 is quite different. the interior is completely revamped, the tail lights are freaking sweet, and the front bumper is much more aggressive.

and as for hot chicks, some booths have some, but they're not that hot. it isn't that kind of show.
