Interesting concepts... it looks like they took the Windows phone os and blew it up into a tablet/desktop os... it looks kinda neat... maybe i'll hold off on buying a tablet until i see what a polished version of windows 8 has to offer

It doesn't matter how great the OS is if there isn't any app developer support... that's already been proved with RIM Playbook and HP's webOS, and even with Windows Phone 7.
I would say that the iOS isn't the best OS, but it's got tons of dev community support, so that's why it's so successful.

shhhh... you'll anger nathan haha... jkjk
that's true though... but i have to admit, the live tiles is an intriguing concept coming from static icons in iOS. Still contemplating whether or not to get a sammy galaxy tab...

i never said that blackberry apps were any good. in fact, they suck on the most part, and the selection is horrendous.
in fact, i said multiple times that ios, although inferior as far as os's go, is only successful because of its awesome app selection.
i'm digging the picture password thing. it actually made me lol. how long before people start making pornographic picture passwords to touch?

haha.. actually, i was thinking the same thing... you gotta touch the "sensitive" areas in the right order before you can unlock the phone/tablet... lol
