although i may have a sneaker collection bigger than any dude should admit to, i don't really know what shoes to get for work. lately i've only gotten aldo dressy/casual shoes but i find that they suck in terms of quality and comfort. i have a pair of rockports for sundays and they seem fine, but i'm talking more about during the week.

what brands of shoes to you guys get for work and the like? they should be shoes that you wouldn't wear with a suit and you could go somewhere like clubbing with them. business casual?

If you're shopping in the states, the outlets have good deals on Steve Madden shoes. They're pretty comfy.

i don't really buy dress shoes for comfort... that's what insoles are for. I find a dress shoe i like that looks good on, and then buy a pair of insoles to make em comfy...

Steve Madden's are good, but you can't beat Rockport or Clark's for comfort.

That being said, you can get some really nice Hugo Boss' from the outlets for around $100 all the time.

i usually am alternating between a pair of dockers/hush puppies. they are both pretty comfy and probably at that business casual level.

Rockports are definitely comfy, but I can't find any styles that I like from Rockport.
$100 for a pair of shoes seems so expensive now, lol... I'm used to buying my shoes for like $25 at the outlets.

i forgot to mention that i wear mostly jeans to work during the week. but for some strange reason i can't bring myself to wear sneakers, i guess that's just pushing it a little.

all the rockports and steve madden shoes i've seen don't seem to go well with jeans. maybe i'm just looking in the wrong stores.

They both make plain black loafers. I find those go well with jeans, but I guess it depends on what type of jeans you wear too. Jeans styles vary quite a bit too... and from remembering the type of jeans you wear, loafers probably won't go well with them.

i had a pair of loafers from aldo that looked pretty good with jeans, but i've never seen styles like that from rockport or madden.

Check out the Shoe Warehouse at the outlets.. they have a pretty good selection of Steve Madden and Rockport loafers.

I don't know... I've never been to the Shoe Warehouses here.

i have, like twice. they have good kid's shoes.

the shoe warehouses here also carry clarks, rockports, hush puppies not sure about steve maddens though.

yeah, i think i've seen them. maybe i'll check one out.
