So I just installed it last night onto my Motorola Xoom. Surprisingly, it looks and feels almost exactly like Honeycomb. I was expecting something drastically different.

Then I read up on it and it turns out the point of Android 4.0 was to put the look and feel of Honeycomb (which was a tablet only OS) onto the phones as well. 4.0 ICS is now a universal OS that can be installed on both smartphones and tablets. It's a pretty big change if you're going from v2.3 Gingerbread to v4.0 ICS though.

There are some pretty nice tweaks from 3.2 to 4.0 though. Better multitasking and app control. Smoother graphics. Improved browser and nicer app store. My tablet runs a lot nicer now.

nice... this makes me want to buy a tablet more... but i still don't know if i can justify paying that much for a tablet that i may or may not utilize

can't you just install honeycomb into your slightly used transformer?

The Transformer already comes with Honeycomb. I think you mean install 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) right?

when i was typing, right before i was typed "honeycomb" i was thinking about typing "ice cream sandwich" and i was distracted by something. i went back to typing and i put in honeycomb. weird.

but yeah, can't you just install ice cream sandwich on your transformer?

The official upgrade for the Transformer hasn't come out yet, but there are probably some hacked copies of it you can install onto there.
If not, the official upgrade should come out soon.

Does Alicia's mom even still have it?

i thought they had to keep it because of a light scratch or something.

Yeah, they couldn't return it... but I thought they would've sold it on craigslist or something by now.

nope, she kept it... and from what i can tell, the ONLY thing she uses it for is mindsweeper... so ghey... she still steals our laptop when alicia leaves it upstairs and plays her ghey fb games on it... she doesn't even utilize the tablet for what it is... there were so many times her tablet was just sitting there unused, yet she decided to pop open my laptop to look up recipes online... wtf... look it up on the tablet and take it with you... it's soOoOo much more convenient having recipes on a tablet...

can you tell i'm still peeved about her using my laptop? ESPECIALLY after we bought her a new computer for xmas?
