it's this one:
http://us.toshiba.com/computers/laptops ... B305-N310/ in blue (it's a deep navy).
i used it for work when i travel, and now i have my tablet so it's been sitting around doing nothing for a while. has everything it's supposed to come with and a zip neoprene sleeve that i used to cart it around. isn't fast enough for games but good for surfing and holding documents and taking notes.
not sure what you need a laptop for but i have a feeling that this is too small and slow for you.

what are you looking for? a gaming one or an easy to carry laptop that will let you surf?
i find engadget usually has some pretty good reviews on laptops.
i have an acer timelinex laptop that i bought in 2010 for roughly $800 and it's been solid since. It's light, compact, has awesome battery life and decent graphics capabilities. That being said, i haven't really done my research since i bought that laptop so i'm sure there are tons of decent laptops in your price range.

yeah maybe a little bit of an explanation what you are planning on using it for might help.
for non discrete graphics you can get a great machine in that range. if you want the latest stuff, 500-900 is basically consumer laptop prices. gaming laptops typically come in around 900+.

curious, why a laptop and not a new desktop? you mentioned the other day that this is going to be your main computer. i thought a guy who likes to game as much as you would want to get a desktop for the extra powerz and customisability (yo dawg, i herd you like to play games).
i'd get (build) a new desktop and get a tablet for portability. i have a feeling that you'd come out on top if you played it right even.
