like.. really really bad insomnia? lol havent slept for 2 days and i'm not tired. been going on for like 2 weeks and i've tried everythang

sounds rough jt. maybe go see a doctor about it. they probably could prescribe you a sedative to help sleep. also the insomnia could be indicative of other problems so it doesn't hurt to get it checked out...

stop stressing about school. then you'll be able to sleep.

i have bouts of insomnia every once in a while. I even tried getting drunk one time haha... but i agree with joel, sometimes it's indicative of some other problem. Like one time i couldn't sleep because something was lingering in the back of my mind and i kept worrying about it so i couldn't sleep. even if i did sleep, i didn't have a good night's rest. It wasn't until i dealt with the matter and cleared it from my mind did i sleep better

funny thing for me is that when i'm drunk i can't sleep.
did you try reading your bible? lol, that helps for a lot of people.

Just throwing stuff out there:
Don't eat after 9pm
Turn off the tv
Turn off your phone
No music.

For me, I found the 'not eating' thing seemed to help.

I hope doing laundry isn't the cause of his insomnia.

i get some pretty bad insomnia too at times, i read that it's tough to TRY to fall asleep, because when you can't you feel stressed and that makes it worse. instead, find a relaxation technique. it might mean taking a bath, drinking warm milk, read a book, or even for some, go for a jog. but avoid all brain-stimulating activities like playing games, talking/texting on your phone, surfing for porn, etc.

however, if it's a medical reason, you're hooped. have fun in zombieland.

I can sleep fine on weekends so its def the pressure of trying to get a good 8 hours before work. but yea, i TRY to fall asleep and then i get really stressed out about not being able to fall asleep then im facked.
