hmmmm... I thought it was, but after checking their site, it looks like they extended the warranty for my issue. (3 red flashing lights).

Oh, that's good news! I hope MS doesn't give you too much hassle in fixing it up.

Alicia's brother had the same issue with his xbox.. the red ring of death.. haha... microsoft just shipped him a box with prepaid postage so he could ship them his busted 360 and they sent him a new one in a few weeks... i think he even got a newer better model because his was discontinued... it might've been a refurb, but still work so not so bad...

on the other hand, my original ps3 died just over a year after i got it. It seems to be a super common problem with the bluray laser dying... sony didn't acknowledge the issue like microsoft did though... so in short, i had to sell it as is, and buy a new ps3...
