most of taipei and surrounding areas were given a day off due to heavy rains. I left the day it started happening.

lucky. there were some taiwanese chicks at church the past few weeks. i asked them about it and they had no idea what i was talking about (mostly because they don't speak english).

flooding back home. washed away our neighbors bridge... apparently with him on it. He's missing.

Yeah, My cousin's getting married in the middle of August so I'll be going down for that. I may also go down earlier as well. Haven't decided yet.

whoa crazy. i read about a casualty from the floods and i guess i didn't clue in that since it's such a small community that you'd maybe know them. sorry to hear man, that's pretty nuts.
