Here's a good review on bike locks. I assume you already have one but if you're looking for another one, here you go...

Yeah, I think there was a thread about it somewhere. Something about a hydraulic lift that lifts your bike up in the air or something.
Thanks for the link. I've heard good things about the Kryptonite locks. I cheaped out and got a lousy u-lock... then was too afraid to ever use it. Ended up getting a good cable lock instead.
Bike locks are such a pain in the arse. If you have a crappy bike, no worries... nobody wants it. But if you have an nice light carbon fiber bike, you gotta lug around 20 pounds of locks with you everywhere you go totally negating the point of having a nice bike.
Bottom line, if a thief wants your bike, he's gonna get it. Your best bet is to make your bike either less desirable, or harder to take than the one next to it.
Bolted seat post.
gluing a ball bearing in the handlebar stem allen bolt
u-locking frame & rear wheel
cable locking front wheel & frame
Oh, and remember your serial number. Many, many bikes are eventually recovered, but the cops have no way of identifying the owner and end up auctioning them off.
