help wanted (serious)
Posted: Thu Sep 27, 2012 4:54 pmsome of you guys know this situation, but there's a guy at church who is a little down on his luck. he was the full time caregiver for his elderly parents, and when they recently died, he found himself without any job, place to live, and basically any life whatsoever. he tried to find some work, but he may have some mental problems that get in the way. currently he is renting a room in a house by fynn's house, and the church has been paying his rent for the past two months.
he isn't eating. he's lost a considerable amount of weight and i've been told that he's been spotted picking blackberries along marine drive (i have a feeling that's all he's eating right now). the church can't pay his rent forever obviously ($300 a month so far), but we can help him as much as we can.
so what i'm asking for help for is if any of you know of some odd jobs, one time deals, anything that would put a little bit of cash in this guy's pocket, if you could please forward them to me. he isn't great with people, but he can clean and stuff like that. let me know if you hear anything. thanks.
